Detroit (February 13, 2012)—The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is pleased to announce that the Max M. Fisher Music Center will be open for business at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, February 14, and all events and concerts are to go on as scheduled.

The disruption caused by Sunday’s underground cable failure is largely contained to the basement restroom area of the original Orchestra Hall structure. A licensed structural engineer has cleared the Max M. Fisher Music Center campus for occupancy.

The DSO website has also resumed normal operations. Remaining tickets for this weekend’s DSO concerts featuring piano virtuoso Emanuel Ax, as well as Friday evening’s Paradise Jazz Concert featuring Gretchen Parlato and Vijay Iyer, can be purchased at www.dso.org or by calling 313-576-5111.
